1. About this platform

This platform is operated on behalf of the Institute of Allergology and Immunology (IAI), which organizes the Allergy Avengers Walk + Run 2026, to facilitate participant registration and event contribution payments. All funds generated through registrations and contributions will be used exclusively to procure adrenaline auto injectors for patients with severe allergies and anaphylaxis in Sri Lanka through the Save a Life Project.

2. Registration

By submitting the registration form, you confirm that the name, email, and mobile number you provide are accurate and belong to you (or the participant you are registering).

3. Contribution amounts & payment

Contribution amounts are fixed at LKR 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, or 100,000 - select one of these packages during registration. All payments are processed securely by PayHere, a licensed payment gateway in Sri Lanka. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, or banking credentials - PayHere handles all payment card data directly.

Every submission is issued a unique transaction reference, which you should keep as your record of registration.

4. Confirmation

Once PayHere confirms a successful payment, you will receive an email confirming your event participation, along with your reference, amount, event date, and location. This email confirms your participation slot; it is not a formal receipt or a tax-deductible document.

5. Cancellation & refund policy

Contributions are final and non-refundable once payment has completed successfully. If you believe a payment was made in error, was duplicated, or was not authorized by you, contact us at office.iai@sjp.ac.lk within 7 days of the transaction so we can look into it.

6. Event changes or cancellation

The organizers may reschedule, modify, or cancel the event for reasons beyond reasonable control (weather, safety, permits, etc.). If this happens, participants will be notified and any contribution refund decisions will be communicated and handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. User conduct

Do not submit false registration information or attempt to interfere with the platform's operation, rate limits, or payment integrity.

8. Limitation of liability

This platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, the organizers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from event participation or use of this platform.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
